Stacking Wood and Prepping for My Trip

Page errors?

Note: For anyone having trouble getting to this page. My internal address has changed. That means https://bobseyes.net has a different sub address, one you can’t see. This means that old shortcuts, favorites and bookmarks won’t work right. To fix this, just go to https://bobseyes.net and make a new shortcut, favorites or bookmark and things should work as they should. That also includes Blog rolls, if they are not working properly.

https://bobseyes.net works just as well.

Thank you

Loading stuff

Today I hung around the house and did some more prepping for my trip. I loaded some stuff and unloaded some stuff I never seem to use.

And wood to the wood pile

While I was doing that I used the wheel barrel to move more of the wood to this wood pile. It’s a bit larger than yesterday. I think I still have six or ten more loads which I will do when I get back.woodpile

Keeping mice out

One of the things I remembered to do was plug up the hole I  made in the floor to get the new heater core pipes through it. I found a piece of plastic and cut it to fit around the pipes. This is important to keep the little critters out, such as mice.

Rough idle problem

The van’s new engine is still having  a bit of a rough idle problem I haven’t been able to figure out yet. I worked on that for an hour or so with no improvement. This one has me stumped for now.

Jelled plans

My plan tomorrow is to finish packing up the last stuff in the van and head out to Gold Lake in the Sierras for a few days. That’s up by Downeville. From there I’m thinking of heading east towards Pyramid Lake in Nevada and on to Winnemucca where I will post my next blogs if all goes as planned. There’s not  much internet access at Gold Lake as far as I know.

Something I forgot to do today

I just remembered I wanted to finish greasing the van, so I’ll be out doing that in the dark. There’s only a few of them that need greasing, but they do need it done.

I’m off on an exploration trip and out having fun, I hope. :O)

Nice day.
