Rims and Tires for the Old Van, a Visit and Rat Control

Looking for rims

I drove on into this tire shop to see about getting some rims for my old van. They had some, but not really what I wanted but finding the old style seemed to not be working out, so I settled for the newer type ones.les

I made an appointment for next week to get four new rims and two new tires that should fix the old van up. I couldn’t just buy one of the newer ones cause then they wouldn’t match, such is life. :O)

Visiting Joe

The tire shop wasn’t far from my friend Joe’s place so I stopped at his place on the way home.

Joe always has something of interest he’s working on and we shoot the bull a lot.joes

I spent a few hours chatting with Joe and had coffee too and a couple of his friends came by so we had a time of it.

Home again

I headed on home and arrived around five, so I let the chickens into the front yard and sat with them for awhile until it got chilly and I went in the house.birds

Rodent report

The rodents a have been into the rat bait for a few days now and are starting to eat more of it. They are eating the bait cubes I crushed and mixed into the plaster of Paris and flour that didn’t do them in before. When I checked the bait today, it looked like they were not eating any of the cubes but making a good dent on the crushed stuff. I think these two are two of the three born last summer and are some of the ones getting into my attic. Something must of gotten the other one.raqts

If they disappear and the noise goes out of my attic, then maybe I’ll be able to say the bait is working. There are some other rats feeding here also so they’ll have to disappear too.

Time might tell?

Nice day.

    Keep on feeding them.

I saw that plaster of Paris solution on the internet again. They SWEAR it works. Maybe you have the supermen of rats. Those bait cubes work in Arizona, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.
