Moving Mulch and Working On the Creek Fence and Drizzle

Saturday March 28, 2020 Guerneville CA.

Yard work

Moving mulch

I got the wheelbarrow and shovel out and loaded up some of this pepperwood leaf mulch from the forest in this spot by my driveway.leafs

And moved about 5 loads of the leaf mulch to this spot by my blueberry patch. The blueberry sprinkler hits this spot and lots of raspberry plants are growing in it. The chickens will be tearing into it when I let them out to graze. Right now they can only use the wire run that you see them in.mulch

Creek fence work

After that and a break I worked on putting more bamboo on the creek fence until I ran out of bamboo so I had to cut some more of it down and trim it up. Lots of trim stuff which I’ll have to figure out a good use for eventually.scrape

More bamboo

Today’s bamboo that I cut and trimmed. Towards evening it started to drizzle very lightly.poles

Shaping up

Here’s the creek fence I worked on today. One more day should about do it, maybe.fence

Started the wood fire

It wasn’t’ drizzling much but just enough to get wet if one stayed out in it so I went in the house and got a fire going and that was it for me today.

Nice day working in the yard.

You must have a huge property, not too many areas look familiar in your photos. The bamboo seems to make short work of fencing. Nice job!
