A Walk In the Woods and I Work On the Garden Enclosure

Tuesday March 21, 2017 Guerneville CA.

A little walk instead

It was raining this morning when I woke up, but stopped by the time I got it going. I went outside to work on my garden enclosure.

But while I was sitting in my chair figuring out what to do Ray came walking in. He wanted to know about our going down the river in a couple days, so we shot the bull about that for a bit.

I didn’t really feel like working on the garden enclosure so I suggested we go for a little walk up into the hills by the park so that’s what we did.

We walked through the forest

We walked up past our water tanks. It was threatening to rain, but so far it wasn’t.tanks

We walked up along this road.ray

And across and through the forest on this road.road

And then came down this road taking our time shooting the bull.rayroad

And down through this road which is almost back.roadray

Armstrong Valley Farm onions

We stopped at my brothers garden to see what was growing. Looks like he has lots of onions growing here.onions

And we walked by  some of my cherry trees which are blooming right now as we got back to the yard.cherry

Ray took off for home when we got back and I had a little nap.

And I got some work done on the enclosure

After awhile, I went out to work on the garden enclosure. I needed to cut some rebar for the roof supports, so I measured the parts and began cutting the rebar. Before I was done, a rain shower burst open and got everything so wet I had to stop, even though it was just a shower, it soaked everything and it’s not good to weld in wet stuff. So  I closed up the garage and sat around in the yard for a bit before it cooled down too much then I went in the house for the day.

And that was my day for a nice one.
